The gladius's signature "wasp-waisted" profile — wide at the tip and base, narrower through the middle — is preserved here rather than simplified into a generic straight blade, which is what separates a real Roman-pattern replica from a lot of "gladius-style" listings that aren't actually gladius-shaped. Damascus steel gives it a twist or raindrop pattern depending on the individual forging run; the rosewood grip and hand-stitched leather scabbard with integrated belt loops round out a piece meant for both study and display.

Roughly 36 inches overall, 55–58 HRC. A solid pick if you're building a Roman-era display alongside other ancient-world pieces rather than a general medieval collection.
